Lying prone while steaming allows the heart to work most efficiently by keeping the blood flowing evenly throughout the body. The combination of massage and steam is simply unbeatable – muscle soreness and tension just melt away.
The steam tent is like a relaxing sauna. It is a natural follow-up to a massage because it helps the body sweat out all the toxins the massage releases. Clients lay flat and the steam tent is secured around them and sealed with Velcro. The head stays outside the tent and a cool wrap is draped around the neck. Warm steam floats into the tent until it reaches about 120 degrees. Clients can stay in for 10 to 30 minutes.
Many people report they notice significant improvement in joint pain and inflammation, congestion, headaches and difficulty sleeping.
Steam Therapy is $25 for 20 minutes.
