Sports Massage


Strenuous exercise leaves muscles feeling fatigued, stiff and sometimes sore. Massage stretches and lengthens shortened muscles, and reduces spasms. A pre-event massage is brief and invigorating with strokes used to warm and energize only the muscles used in that particular sport. Post-event massage after you’ve cooled down will reduce pain and soreness felt in the muscle groups used, as well as flush out metabolic waste products that build up during heavy muscle use. Post-event may include stretches as well.
